How Much Does It Cost To Paint Just A Bedroom?

How Much Does It Cost To Paint Just A Bedroom?

There are a number of factors that often needs to be answered before a quotation and/or an answer can be given to you.

They are: -
1.  What type of house is the one bedroom in?
2.  Is it a master bedroom and/or is it a common room?
3.  What is the size of your bedroom?
4.  How many colours will you be intending to be use in painting that particular bedroom?
5.  What is the type of paint you do you intend to use in painting that particular bedroom?

The first three (3) questions posted above basically revolve around the size of the bedroom.  A master bedroom is, of course a no brainer, would be definitely bigger than a common room.  A common room in a bungalow is definitely going to be bigger than a common room in a HDB Flat.  Basically by being able to answer these three (3) questions would determine how much paint would be needed in completing the job.  A common room in a terrace house may need 3 cans of paint whereas a common room in a HDB 4 Room Flat may only require 1 can of paint.

As for how many colours you would need is also a no brainer.  Basically, if you are going to be want two (2) colours, it would cost more than just painting that 1 bedroom with one (1) colour, simply because they would have to purchase another can or more of additional colour.

Essentially, the first four questions basically tells the painter and his painting crew how many cans of paint would be needed for the job.  From your answers, they can gauge how many cans of paint would be sufficient.  Basically, that would form the basis of their quotation.

The final question basically refers to the type of paint you may have in mind in painting that one bedroom.  Price of paints that are Odour-less and/or Easy to wash are different from paints like Martex which are generally cheaper.

Bearing the above in mind, there are some fixed cost which are easy to determine.  That would be the cost of labour.  The labour cost for per room for a HDB Flat would be about $200.00 per room.  Hence, painting just a one bedroom in a HDB in two colours would be in the region of $300.00 to $350.00.

The best way to get a firm quotation is normally to let one of our painting consultant come down to inspect the place, get the required specifications, discuss with you on your requirements and give you a quotation.

The quotation is free and there is no obligation on your side.

For a quotation, you can call 9767-8808.

I hope that answers your question on how much does it cost to paint just a bedroom.
